Ben & Jerry's Brings Out a Lower Calorie Ice Cream In The UK

It's no surprise that Ben & Jerry's are releasing a lower calorie Ice Cream in the UK. Following the success of Halo Top, comes Ben & Jerry's Moo-phoria Light Ice Cream. It's not as diet-friendly as other "light" Ice Creams on the market, but in true B&J style it's packed with swirls and chunks.

There are two flavours to be available in the UK: Chocolate Cookie Dough at 132 calories per 100ml, and Caramel Cookie Fix at 128 calories per 100ml.

The Chocolate Cookie Dough flavour consists of chocolate ice cream with chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough and the Caramel Cookie Fix is a combination of vanilla ice cream with salted caramel swirl and shortbread cookies... YUM!

Regular Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough comes in at around 241 calories per 100ml, so Moo-phoria comes in significantly less, and is the ideal treat for those of you watching your calorie intake.

It's worth noting that this new addition to the Ben & Jerry's isn't packed full of sugar substitutes or sugar alcohols. They still use Fairtrade Vanilla and Sugar in both flavours.

Want to get your hands on some? It's out in the next week, so keep your eyes peeled for these appearing in your local Supermarket.
