Start-Rite are one of my favourite brands of children’s shoes. I find them quite similar to Clarks, in durability, style and unfortunately, price too. If you are lucky, every now and then, you will be able to grab yourself a pair at a bargain price. Well today is that day.
John Lewis are selling Start-Rite Frangipani Girl’s Trainers for £14. This is a really good price as they are £29 direct from Start-Rite. These are available in three colours: pink, white and blue. The pink has the full range of sizes in stock at present, whereas the other two colours are limited.

Sizes start from a 7F right through to a 12.5F in the pink colour only. In the blue and white only 10.5F is available.
Shoes don’t come more girly than these, with lace, embroidery and sequins on. These have a lacing detail but don’t require any tying as they have a side zip fastening.
These are very suitable for the summer with their bright, sparkly appeal. They are lightweight and have a flexible sole, so they are fine for playing out on a nice day.
Take advantage of John Lewis’ free shoe measuring service if you go into collect. Collection is free and you can also collect from Waitrose stores too if that is more convenient. Or if you are confident you that you know your child’s shoe size then have them delivered for £3.
