John Lewis have Kids DC Trainers on sale from £10.50 to £12 from an original £35 to £40. There's a £3 delivery fee, but you can also click and collect for free from either John Lewis or Waitrose. There are 5 styles to choose from, and they're available in sizes 11 to 6 although some individual shoes have individual sizes out of stock.
I don't know much about these trainers, to be honest, but they do seem to be popular with the younger people (than me and older than my kids, clearly!)
As I said above they're available in 5 colours or styles and most of them strike me as pretty unisex.
DC Trainers are canvas low-top trainers, and the shoe "features the trademark pill patterned rubber bottom, thick laces, logo patches to the tongue and side, and a tough vulcanised construction".
