There are several free apps available at the moment through iTunes for IOS and Google Play for Android that could be really useful for parents and parents-to-be. These include the Pink Pad Period & Fertility Tracker Pro, the Baby Bump Pro and the Kidfolio Pro.
The Pink Pad Period and Fertility Tracker Pro is a free app, available for both IOS and Android operating systems, that helps women keep detailed records of their menstrual cycle. If you are trying to conceive (or indeed avoid conceiving) then the fertility tracker can help predict when this is most likely.
The Baby Bump Pregnancy Pro with Baby Names is also free for IOS and Andoid, and has been called "the best pregnancy app ever". It's won loads of awards, and has so many really useful features that will mean you don't have to cart around all those booklets that the midwife gave you. There are daily updates, images, help and advice, and your own personalised countdown and pregnancy tracker. You can also access help and advice and pregnancy forums to chat to other expectant mums.
The Baby Tracker & Digital Scrapbook Kidfolio Pro is for the next stage, after baby is born and allows you to keep track of baby's development, growth, feeds, sleep patterns and much more. It's a great idea to have all of this is one place with easy access - I used to write it all down on scraps of paper as the midwife needed all the information when they visited, and this looks so much easier.
All three apps are available through iTunes for IOS, or Google Play for Android.
