I'm a huge fan of baby gyms and will happily pay more for a decent one - Mothercare have reduced this Tiny Love Kick and Play gym from £55 down to £49.99.
There are so many positive features to having a baby gym in the house for your little one to experience and play with.
When they are properly tiny it gives them a different place on which to lie flat, and an alternative view of their little world; all of my kids would fall asleep under the baby gym when they were really small.
When they're a bit bigger, the hanging toys will give them an incentive to reach out and develop their motor skills by batting and trying to grab them.
When they're even bigger it's time to turn over and indulge in a bit of tummy time.
This Tiny Love Kick and Play gym has lots of extra features that, in my opinion, make it more than worth the money:
It's brightly coloures, it's nicely padded (a lot of the cheaper ones are very thin), it has five hanging animal toys (duck chimes bell, giraffe rattle, lion rattle, bear bead rattle, butterfly teether), and it plays 10 minutes of classical music.
It's suitable from birth and requires 3 AA batteries, which aren't included. It's available for store collection if you have a Mothercare near you, or you can arrange for home delivery for £4.95.
Happy kicking and playing!
