Breastfeeding mums alert! Here is the Philips Avent breastpump down from the original high price of £88.09 down to £59.99 and with free delivery from Amazon. It is a BPA-free wonder with all sorts of lovely features.
The Philips Avent range is one of the most popular as most mums seem to prefer it for comfort, although not necessarily for reliability. There have been some reviews saying that can stop working quite easily.
This ump actually learns your pumping rythm and then continues with it so you get a relaxed experience. The gentle vacuum mimics the baby’s sucking and the soft massage cushions trigger natural let-down. And you can operate it via mains, battery or manually. Bonus.
I rather like the idea that this breastpump has an electronic memory that learns your personal style. This seems like a very civilised use of technology and one that could make all the difference to a breastfeeding mum.
I had the old version of this and found it really easy to use but a little noisy, after all one does like to watch TV or something because it can get a bit boring.
