I'm a hot room, hot summer, hot holiday person. I loathe being cold and because of this I'm really not the best judge of temperature when it comes to guaging how many blankets or not to wrap my baby in.
What I think is chilly usually turns out to be ideal and with overheating being a known risk factor in cot deaths, I am more than happy not to use my own judgement for once.
Now I know you can get those colour-changing temperature sensitive strips in a little cardboard frame to tell you how warm or not a room is, but WHERE'S the fun in those! These Gro-Bag eggs are ACE and will tell you at a glance what the ambient temperature is in whichever room you have it in by changing colour.
It really doesn't take a genius to figure this out but for the sake of clarification: BLUE is too cold, YELLOW is ideal, ORANGE is a bit warm and RED is TOO HOT! It also displays the actual temperature too and because it's illuminated you don't need to turn the light on to read what it says, I also found it doubled-up nicely as a gentle night light too.
