Winnie The Pooh Movie Collection £7.95 @ The Hut

1 June 2012

The Hut are selling this lovely Winnie The Pooh movie collection for 7.95, rather than its full price of £17.99.

I adore Winnie the Pooh; my youngest son's nickname is Bear - his name is Edward and Edward Bear is Winnie the Pooh's proper name.  Winne the Pooh was also the inspiration for the name of a friend's dog - she's a little poodle of some sort (very cute) and her name is Winnie the Pooh-dle.

Despite having a soft spot for Winnie the Pooh, I've only ever seen snippets of two of the featured movies - The Tigger Movie and Pooh's Heffalump Movie, the other movie which makes up this Winnie the Pooh movie collection is, the uniquely titled, Winnie the Pooh: The Movie.

Ahhh it makes me want to dig out my copy of the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh DVD, which has short mini films (I suppose that's what they are) of the most well-known Pooh stories - you know, the one where he tries to steal honey from the bees nesting in a tree, by pretending he's a little black rain cloud; when he gets stuck in Rabbit's front door hole because he ate too much honey at lunch time.

If you have a young Pooh Bear fan in your family then this Winnie the Pooh movie collection will be something they'll enjoy on a miserable rainy afternoon.
