The Magic Faraway Tree To Be Made Into Movie

The Magic Faraway Tree To Be Made Into Movie

My all-time favourite Storybook from my childhood is Enid Blyton's The Magic Faraway Tree. It's the stuff of wonders and really offers something magical to children and adults alike. If you too have fond memories of the Book then prepare to get excited... Silky the fairy, Moonface, Dame Washalot and Saucepan Man will be coming to the big screen!

That's right, The Magic Faraway Tree is being made into a movie. What's even better is it's Simon Farnaby, who'll be behind the adaptation. He's the genius that penned the Paddington 2 screenplay, so we are sure that he will do the famous book justice.

There's not much more information at the moment, but as soon as we find out when it's out, who's in it or anymore goss, then we will be the first to let you know.

Loved these books as a child!

I am reserving judgement. I love the book too much to let it be turned into a farcical movie. Paddington 2 was brilliant but Peter Rabbit looks meh (not seen it just from trailers).

Where / how do we get tickets? So wonderful to see the Classics, without their screwed up "political correctness", back in force....long live " Fanny", "Gay" and all those other wonderful words and characters, that children see only in their innocence, not our perverted sense of what is right or wrong! Xx
