Argos have dropped the price of this Lego Technic Mobile Crane from a whopping £74.99 to a more wallet friendly £35.99.
My youngest has been after a Lego Technic Mobile Crane for yonks; even though he's a mere six and a half years too young for the recommended age range, which is 11 years by the way, I expect he'll still become the proud owner of it - you see, me and his dad get to build all of his Lego things more than he does *grin*
For your £35.99 you have effectively got two cranes for the price of one, as this Lego Technic Mobile Crane also can also be rebuilt into a harbour crane.
If you have an older child (and yes, PlayPennies grown-up Lego fans I include you in that statement) then the Lego Technic Mobile Crane set is great for developing future engineering skills and encourages imaginative play.
As a mobile crane it has all wheel steering and a telescopic arm that extends up to 60cms. It has four outriggers that can be extended by turning the wheel at the back of the crane and it measures 37.8cm (H) x 8.7cm (W).
I had a quick check around the country for stock, using www.icheckstock.co.uk, and the majority of stores seem to have stock (it's currently unavailable for home delivery; look on the bright side, at least you'll save yourself the rather excessive £5.95 delivery charge) although some of you might have to travel a few miles further away from your nearest Argos store.
