Free LEGO Trading Cards Are Back At Sainsbury's!

If your youngsters have collected the LEGO trading cards that were given out for free at Sainsbury's stores over the last few years, then you will be pleased to know that they are coming back this week!

The LEGO Create The World Cards and Collectors Album will return on Wednesday 16th September for six weeks, with one pack of cards totally free for every £10 spent in-store and online and two free packs purchased with every album.

With 140 cards to collect in total, Sainsbury’s customers can kick-start their collection by purchasing an album for £2.50. Super-fans can boost their collection by purchasing additional packs for 50p.

The album aims to inspire and educate children about different foods from around the world, and the theme this year will take children on a journey to discover where on the planet different ingredients come from. With LEGO characters Lily and Sam, children will travel through seven chapters in the album each focusing on a different continent, learning about the importance of eating different food groups and their nutritional value in a fun and engaging way. This collection is called 'Living Amazingly'.

This is the third time Sainsbury’s has launched the LEGO Cards and each year they prove incredibly popular. Last time they were available in Sainsbury’s, the nation collected over 400 million cards in just six weeks. What’s more, the LEGO collector albums were so popular in 2018, over one million LEGO albums were sold.

Sadly there will be no swap shops this year due to the pandemic, however you can purchase booster packs for 50p.
