Airfryers/Healthy Fryers are EXPENSIVE, there's no two ways about it. We have one and use it a lot. We make stir-frys, chips, roast potatoes and so on. The oven just doesn't cut it for some foods anymore.
You can expect to pay well over £100 for a branded Airfryer, but not today as Amazon has a cracker of a deal on. They have reduced the price of the Tefal ActiFry Low Fat Healthy Fryer (AL806240) to just £89.
What's so special about the Tefal ActiFry? For a start, it can cook up to 1kg of food using just a single spoonful of oil. It'll leave you with crisped, fried-tasting food that isn't anywhere as unhealthy as deep fried.
It works by a hot air system and stirring paddle that makes sure that food is slowly turned and cooks evenly. Unlike other AirFryers there is no need to shake or stir during cooking. You don't even need to preheat the thing.
I always say read the reviews with big purchases like this, as they tend to reveal all. Having said that, the reviews are great for this on both Amazon and Tesco Direct.
