Don't laugh! I really do enjoy going to the beach, but the sand is the stuff of nightmares. It gets everywhere. I am buying one of these Sand Free Beach Mats from Amazon. At £8.39, you cannot go wrong, in my eyes.
The Sand Free Beach Mat is NOT a Towel, it's a Sheet or Mat that you can the kids can sit on to avoid the sand.
Basically it works by the sand just falling right through. This makes it ideal for eating on. Do not start me on sandy food... gagging at the thought.
It's also quick drying, so it's fine for chucking in the back of the car.
This only has one review on Amazon, but I think if you bear in mind that it's not actually a towel, then you shouldn't be disappointed.
