In five weeks time my husband will be flying home for Christmas and when I asked him what he wanted for dinner on the night he landed, he said, "Something amazing!"
Well that wasn't overly helpful, so taking the time of year, and the fact he'll have been travelling for almost 24 hours by the time we get home from Heathrow, I figured something comforting cooked in the slow cooker would fit the 'something amazing' bill.
It also means I can get everything sorted before I do battle with the M1 and the M25 to get to Terminal 3, switch on my Morphy Richards Slow Cooker when I leave and know it'll be cooking away nicely whilst I'm gone; I can already smell the yummyness greeting us when we walk in the front door.
If you don't have a slow cooker, then get one! They're amazing things - I am completely in love with mine.
This partiuclar Morphy Richards Slow Cooker has the following features:
- Capacity 6.5 litres
- With 3 settings, low, medium and high
- Toughened glass lid to monitor cooking without letting heat escape
- Cooking vessel can be put directly onto the table
- Dishwasher proof cooking vessel
- Non-slip feet
- Cooltouch handles
It's not an Amazon Deal of the Week unfortunately, so the price may well go up (or down, I suppose) if Amazon decide to start messing around with it.
Happy slow cooking!
