Sod the kids! I need this bed! NEED IT I SAID! It'll take more than smashing my Terramundi Pot, emptying my bank account and bribing my Husband to be able to afford one though. This Sky B Plane Junior Bed sold by Cuckooland, may just be the coolest, most fun bed on the market, but it costs an eye-watering £22,995 - nope, I haven't leaned on my keyboard. This bed actually is five quid shy of £23k.
Why is it so expensive?
Just look at it, it's freakin' awesome. Not to mention that it's made to order. Made from fibreglass, this bed really is like an Aeroplane. This bed isn't built up, but is carefully crafted in 14 days.
It's fair to say that the details really make this bed something special. The decorative suitcases make climbing up and down the airplane a piece of cake. They can also be used for storage - how nifty?
This is a feature piece and certainly has the wow factor with it's striking, yellow glossy varnish. The finishing touches are made from stainless steel and veneered wood.
You can find secret storage on both sides of the bottom wing and in the staircase. The top wing can also be used as a shelf.
Is it worth it?
Unless this bed comes with a lifetime of flights, then it's a no. At the end of the day it's a bed. The only other option is that you have an abundance of children that can make use of this bed over the years.
