This is a sturdy pine bed with an antique finish and a classic design that's perfect for older children ready to move up from their toddler beds.
You'd normally only expect to get a metal or plastic frame bed for this price, so it's great value to get a strong and well made wooden frame for this amount of money.
My kids had the matching cot and my youngest is in the toddler bed version of this bed, and if he was anywhere near ready to move up to a single bed I would be getting this one for definite. We have found the range to be brilliant quality and really sturdy and long lasting, having survived two boisterous boys with no trouble.
Although the Mothercare page description says that Standard Delivery is free it looks like that is a mistake, as there's a £9.95 delivery charge for furniture, so in all it's £69.95 including delivery.
