I bought my first Sega Megadrive 2 back in 1994 - I was pregnant with my first son and playing Sonic the Hedgehog and Superhang on took my mind off feeling queasy in the mornings.
The scary thing, thinking back, is that I paid £149.99 for it, AND I had to buy Super Hang-on from a second hand from somewhere. What a difference 17 years makes, because now you can pick up this Sega Megadrive 2 for £17.99.
I don't remember what happened to my Sega Megadrive 2 though, all I know is I don't own it any more and I didn't get to complete Sonic Spinball which is one of the games that comes pre-loaded onto this Megadrive.
You get two controllers, all the necessary AV connecting malarkey to hook your Sega Megadrive 2 up to your TV and it has a cartridge slot too that will take most Megadrive and Genesis games from any region.
Reviews are okay - some muttering about slow play, but that's what I remember from 16-bit gaming of old and is part of the appeal for this Sega Megadrive 2 for me; weird, maybe, but I can play superfast, superslick games on the Wii, I don't need a Megadrive for that.
All the usual Amazon delivery options apply here, now they just need a same day service and I'll be a very happy Amazon camper.
