What Is The C64 Mini Console?

It's made by Retro Games and is an official 50% size replica of the real thing.

It has an RRP of £69.99 and comes with 64 pre-installed games from the 80s, like California Games, Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe, Paradroid and Impossible Mission. Just plug it into your TV to play.

It comes with its own joystick, HDMI cable and USB charging cable, so if you want to use the mains electric you'll need to get a USB AC adapter.

The best bit for fans of the original console is that it has the ability for you to plug in a keyboard and use it as a pc like you remember from the 80s, typing in commands in BASIC or even programming your own games. Goodness I feel old right now.

Here's the games you get pre-installed:

  • AlleyKat

I have the original Commodore 64 complete with games cartridge, tape drive and 5 1/4 floppy disk drive and disks. Also, an Amigo 1200 with games. Time to get them out and do some practicing. Many happy hours spent competing with my husband. Those were the good old days. :) Looking forward to seeing the new version.
