The original price for this Chad Valley Bowl 'Em Over game was £6.99; Argos are currently selling it for £3.49 (the small print says this selling price is valid until the 21 January).
I do like simple games. Computer and consol games, iPad and iTouches have lots of fantastic games for kids too, but sometimes you can't beat something that doesn't need to be plugged into the mains or need any batteries, which are invariably not included.
This Chad Valley Bowl 'Em Over game ticks all the fun and simplicity boxes.
The clue of the concept is in the title - it's a traditional bowling game with the only objective being to bowl over as many pins as you can; no complicated rules, no need for instructions - just aim, bowl, knock over and have FUN!
Chad Valley Bowl 'Em over comes with a bowling alley, 12 pins to knock down, a pin setter, two bowling balls, a score sheet (this is VERY important if your household is as competitive as mine) and some instructions...not that you'll need them, I'm sure.
Both in-store collection and home delivery options are available, but really - just pop into town and pick this up, otherwise you're going to pay £5.95 for delivery.
