For those of you who are encountering the Trunki concept for the first time I'll go into a bit more detail. These lovely items of luggage have been designed to hold the weight of tots so they can use it as a ride-on as well as a suitcase. They can either sit on it and let you pull them with the included reins, or they can whizz around on their own while they wait for the train/plane to depart.
They can sit on it in long queues and play with it when they're bored. Parents will love the fact that the Trunki is easily thrown over your shoulder for carrying, or you can grab the handle if you're in a rush. But wait, I haven't got to the best bit - they are hand luggage sized! Yes! They can go with you all over the airport and then onto the plane. Pure, utter, genius.
The Trunki has a locking catch with a key and ID label, it is suitable for kids aged three to six, and this particular model is a fabulously bright pink.
