Have you seen these new Heinz pouches yet? I'm always on the lookout for quick, healthy meals I can rustle up in no time, and these look perfect to keep in the cupboard for a busy day. They're usually £2.50 each, but right now they're just £1.42 on Subscribe & Save — and there's an extra 5% off when you buy four.
- Heinz Curry Chickpeas with Coconut & Spinach @ Amazon*
- Heinz Harissa Chickpeas with Peppers & Garlic @ Amazon*
- Heinz Tomato Cannellini Beans with Garlic @ Amazon*
- Heinz Black Lentil Dhal with Spinach & Tomatoes @ Amazon*
- Heinz Chilli Black Beans with Chipotle @ Amazon*
They look decent for calories, protein and fibre too. Per whole 250g pouch, the Harissa Chickpeas are 288 kcal with 12.8g of protein and 8.5g of fibre, the Tomato Cannellini Beans are 240 kcal with 12.3g protein and a good 9.6g of fibre, and the Curry Chickpeas 238 kcal with 11.5g protein and 6.3g fibre, a filling little meal for not many calories.
And because they're a cupboard product with no need for the fridge they'd be a great one to keep in your drawer at work. You just tear the top, stand the pouch in the microwave for about a minute and a half, let it sit for a minute, and that's lunch sorted (there's a hob option too if you'd rather).
The Subscribe & Save price is dead easy to set up, you just tick the Subscribe & Save box when you order and that gets you the £1.42. It's a subscription, so if after your order you'd rather not receive any further deliveries, it's easy to amend it from your account.
Subscribe & Save orders get free standard delivery, the one thing to know is that if you're not a Prime member, a delivery charge can apply on that first order if it comes to under £35 (Prime members, or a basket over £35, are free either way).
