Lightning Deals @ Amazon

27 December 2011

Have you seen the daily 'lightning deals' over on Amazon?

I went over there to see if there was anything worth telling you about and saw eight pages of these lightning deals just a little way down from the top of the Boxing Day Deals Week page; here's how it works...

Various products have been chosen for lightning deals today and are sitting waiting to go live every 20 minutes - on the hour, twenty past and twenty to - and the discount is revealed once you can order them.

The discounts are available for a limited time only and you must check out within 15 minutes of adding a lightning deal product to your basket.  The lightning deals will be available to buy all the while there is still time remaining or until all the available units have been sold.

The deal that went live at 8.40am this morning was a Philips Sensiflex toothbrush and after five minutes I could see that 2% of the stock available had been sold and there was an hour and 55 minutes remaining.

The lightning deal for 9.40am is a 42" plasma TV, 11.00am a LEGO Toy Story Woody Watch and a football goal for the garden at 11.40am.

There are lots of other items waiting to be snapped up as lightening deals all the way to 8pm tonight, whereafter it all starts again tomorrow - they're well worth scrolling through each day and keeping an eye on, the very thing you were hankering after might just come up!
