Well that's me back in virtual LEGO City mode - since I started writing about LEGO City things I've been building my own imaginary one (I know I love LEGO but not enough to really buy any for myself!) and it's looking rather awesome...and HUGE!
I don't yet have a LEGO City Heavy-Lift Police Helicopter though, which I think is something every LEGO City should have. It comes with three minifigures - a forest policeman and two pilots - a police ATV (All Terrain Vehicle!) and features the following:
- A large interior
- An opening cockpit
- Opening rear door
- Moving rotors; and
- Articulated wheels
Reviews are excellent, the LEGO City Heavy-Lift Police Helicopter really seems to go down a storm:
My grandson really enjoyed building this and I thought really impressive once finished. Believe this will get used a lot and provide hours of fun.
We purchased this Lego helicopter for our five-year-old son for Christmas and the expression on his face when he opened it was priceless. He was so excited! The helicopter is large when put together and comes with a vehicle and a couple of Lego figures as well, so you get a lot for your money.
The set is complicated to put together and needs adult help, although an older child would probably be all right. The rotors tend to come off during play but are easy enough to put back on.
All in all, it's a sturdy set and gives lots of different opportunities for playing and acting out scenes. I can see this being played with a lot in years to come and our son now wants other Lego City Police items to go with it!
Personally, I'd arrange to pop into my local Tesco store and collect my LEGO City Heavy-Lift Police Helicopter for free, but then I'm too tight-fisted to be prepared to pay out an additional £3 to have them deliver it to me!
