Argos are selling their Chad Valley wooden garage play set for £7.99, rather than its original £39.99.
I have a bit of a thing for wooden toys and this Chad Valley wooden garage just looks so much more stylish, and robust, than its plastic cousins.
It features three floors - ground, first and second - a petrol pump, entrance barrier, a working lift and a helipad. It also comes with three little wooden cars, a truck and a helicopter to land on the helipad. It's suitable for youngsters aged three years and older and measures Size H40, W40, D50cm.

"Bought this for my grandson for Xmas. Decided to put it together on day of purchase took a long time as everything is screwed together. However when completed it seems sturdy and is a good size.
The working lift is a little stiff but is a good design and hope will become easier with use. My grandson loves cars this garage seems sturdier and more grown up than the plastic varieties. Was good value for money as purchased for half price. Can't comment on usage as he has to wait for Xmas to receive it but am hoping it will get good use for many years to come."
You might need to enlist the help of friends and family who live further afield, if your local Argos isn't holding any stock, or you can go on a little bit of a Chad Valley Wooden Garage collection adventure - personally, at this price, travelling a little further than usual would be worth it!
