If you’re after a chocolate-free advent calendar for the kids, the Marvel Advent Countdown book is down to £8.98 at Amazon on a limited time deal, down from £19.99. It makes a great gift for a little Marvel fan. Also available for the same price is this Disney version!
It’s a chapter book with 24 sealed Marvel stories, one for every day up to Christmas Eve, and you tear along the perforation to open each one. The stories are short, so they’re ideal for bedtime, and it’s aimed at ages 6 to 10. Once December’s over it’s a lovely keepsake to bring back out every Christmas.
Delivery is free for Amazon Prime members. Non-members get free standard delivery on orders over £10 of books, otherwise it’s £4.99.
