If you’re after a chocolate-free advent calendar for the kids, the Disney Advent Countdown book is down to £8.98 at Amazon from £19.99.
It’s a chapter book with 24 sealed Disney stories, one for every day up to Christmas Eve, and you tear along the perforation to open each one. The stories are short, so they’re ideal for bedtime, and it’s aimed at ages 6 to 10. Once December’s over it’s a lovely keepsake to bring back out every Christmas.
Delivery is free for Amazon Prime members. Non-members get free standard delivery on orders over £10 of books, otherwise it’s £4.99. Amazon are estimating delivery for 31st October at the minute, so it’ll still be with you well before you need it.
