The Book People have been, and will be again, selling The Hairy Dieters - How to Love Food and Lose Weight cook book for £4.99.
The recommended list price is £14.99 and most everywhere else like Waterstones, Amazon et al are selling it for £10.49; it's out of stock, on delayed delivery or 'available to order' everywhere - nowhere had been able to keep up with demand!
Right - click that link above and bookmark it! THEN add an alert to the calendar on your phone, a note in your diary, scribble on your wall calender, stick up post-its (whatever it takes) to remind yourself to go back to the Book People from early September (which is only from the middle part of next week) to start checking whether the stock they're waiting for has arrived.
Have you been watching the Hairy Dieters programme on TV? I have and, whilst my personal trainer brain can't help but wonder how much muscle mass they may have lost in the process, I've been smiling all the way through because I'm rather fond of Si and Dave and their health cannot have done anything other than improved massively - losing a ton of fat from your body will do that!
Their 'cook smart' low calorie, but not low flavour, recipes are ones you and the rest of the family will be familiar with - there are no airs and graces with their cooking and you won't have to scout around in specialist online cook shops for equipment or ingredients.
Quite frankly, if all our obese nation did was buy the Hairy Dieters cook book, cooked and ate the recipes and moved around a bit more (Si and Dave ditched their motorbikes for bicycles) then we might be able to think about handing over the dubious title of the being the 'Most Overweight and Obese Nation in Europe' on to someone else!
I feel very strongly about this: two out of three of us are overweight or obese, this is TERRIBLE and really has to change!
If you're not sure how to kick start things and/or can't bear the thought of 'healthy food', BUY THIS BOOK! Keep an eye on The Book People and POUNCE the moment it's back in stock - if code CHAT3DEL is still working by then, then you'll get free delivery too.
NB - I was in my local Waterstones yesterday and they had a couple of copies on the shelves, if you really cannot bear to wait until early September then a trip into town is going to be in order.
