Schools out for summer! Schools out forever! Well for six weeks but it sure is going to feel like forever for us parents. I know that I spent forever as a child on the swings. Sadly I have a swing-phobic child (yes, abnormal I know!). So I can't make use of this deal unfortunately. Tesco have reduced the Tesco Double Swing Set to half price, down from £39.99 to £19.98.
Delivery is free if you can find a store near you that does collections (you have to go to the store and collect the item). Otherwise it will cost you £5. It is recommended for ages 3 plus. The website says that the maximum weight is for 45kg each seat, simultaneously. It advises that you do not exceed a combined weight of 90kg.
However, looking at the picture, I probably wouldn't want to use it for children over the age of 7. Just the younger ones. It doesn't look like the frame would take a really vigorous swing from an older child! That could just be me though. I've always found swings slightly scary, but then that was the main attraction of them when I was a kid. As an adult I find I just feel a bit sick.
According to the manufacturer the Tesco Double Swing set strictly confirms to the safety standard and brings you great fun. It also says that the set is easy to assemble.
