I've come across this range of food toys at a friend's house and I thought they were brilliant. Not at all squashy like the play food my son had got with his pretend shop. I don't know if all kids love doing this, but he used to love playing with pretend food. Fruit, vegetables, cakes, pretend pizza. The site says the set isn't suitable for children under 36 months (ie under 3 years). This range of life sized plastic play food is brilliant for pretend play and is designed to look just like the real thing.
The fruit is made from washable, durable, safe, plastic. The seven fruits - an apple, banana, pear, two strawberries, orange, and apricot - are styled to closely resemble the real thing in both size and colouring. An excellent addition to any pretend kitchen or shop.
The life size pieces measure between 5cm and 19cm.
