legoStarWars7929BattleOfNabooAmazon are currently selling this LEGO Star Wars: 7929 The Battle of Naboo for £17.89 instead of £25.00.

My youngest son has swimming lessons on a Friday; after swimming I spend the rest of the afternoon and early evening being a LEGO Star Wars slave.

Edward plays 'foreman' and supervises my building of his latest, and various, LEGO Star Wars models.

One of my favourites, so far, has been this LEGO Star Wars 7929: The Battle of Naboo model.

There are eight Clone droids to build which, once you get into the swing of things, are quite theraputic to just sit and make, along with Jar Jar Binks, a Gungan soldier and two droid pilots.

THEN there's the Trade Federation troop carrier to get your teeth into, which took me at least 45 minutes to build.

I'm not the only one who's enjoyed building this Battle of Naboo model...

"My son has always wanted the now retired Lego MTT transport from Episode 1 as he has always wanted to re-enact the battle of Naboo. So when this set was released, he spent his hard saved pocket money on it and was not disappointed. The set comprises of 10 battle droids, two pilot and 8 'normal' droids, Jar Jar Binks (who hasn't been available in a set for years) and a Gungan warrior. You also get a sturdy and fun vehicle transport.

When you compare the price to other Lego sets, it's a bargain. A Clone Trooper battle pack comes with a a couple of small vehicles and 4 clones for about a tenner. For about £25, this set offers 14 minifigs and a decent vehicle. The build is straight-forward and my 6 year old son who is a competent builder had no problems.

The number of minifigs make this a must for any Lego Star Wars fan, as it is an instant army builder. My son is now saving to buy another. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

And if that's not enough to convince you...

"We bought this item for our eldest son who is slightly mad on Star Wars & Lego, this is what he thought:

When this arrived on Monday morning, I was delighted. I opened it straight away and made it instantly. It was quite easy to make, especially the droids. It created loads of fun for me and my little brother, who loves Star Wars as well. I think that the fact that it comes with loads of minifigures, mainly droids, makes it one of the best Lego Star Wars sets you can get. I recommend this to any Lego Star Wars fan."

Happy Droid Building!
