Back To School: Cheapest School Uniform

Want to save money on School Uniform? It's the biggest item on our Back To School shopping list and costs soon mount up, so we're here to help you find the cheapest school uniform around.

There's an awful lot of choice out there so it can be hard to find the best deal but if it's a bargain you're looking for we have found the very best prices on all those school uniform essentials.

Budget Supermarkets

The budget supermarkets Aldi and Lidl had the very cheapest school uniform in the UK with a full outfit for less than £4, but those are long gone online now. It's not very likely that many stocks are left in stores now either, but if you can find any then those will be the lowest price in the UK. Your best option for the cheapest school uniform is now the main supermarkets.

Asda George

Asda George* just about win the race for the cheapest school uniforms. They have both Boys School Trousers and Girls School Trousers starting at just £3 and that's where they win the price war as they can't be had cheaper than that. School Blazers are also cheaper at Asda George than anywhere else as they start at £10, while F&F and Tu have them from £12. Asda have School Skirts starting at £3, Polo Shirts are from £2.50 for a pack of two, and School Shirts start at £3 for a pack of 2.

F&F at Tesco

F&F at Tesco* has Skirts, Polo Shirts and School Shirts at the same price as Asda, with School Trousers starting from a few pence more than their rivals at £3.50. School Skirts are from £3, Polo Shirts are from £2.50 for a pack of two, and School Shirts are from £3 for a pack of 2.

Tu @ Sainsbury's

Tu at Sainsbury's* are not far behind those two stores with Skirts from 2 for £6, and their Polo Shirts are actually cheaper than the other supermarkets in the smaller sizes as you can get a pack of three from as little as £3.50. When the 25% off Tu Clothing promotion comes along then Sainsbury's will actually become the cheapest of the lot! We're hearing that the 25% off promotion may start on the 16th or 23rd August, but the dates have not been confirmed yet.

Personalised School Uniform

If you have to have school uniform jumpers with a logo on then you will be restricted as to where you buy them, as school suppliers can be very expensive. make sure you check if your school is registered with any of the high street retailers than sell embroidered uniform as well though, as they can be much cheaper than independent suppliers. Embroidered School Uniform is offered by F&F at Tesco* and by John Lewis*. Marks and Spencer also offer this service, but the last date for ordering has passed as it was the 31st July.
