SPAM Chopped Pork and Ham are running a competition to win five weekend theatre breaks plus £100 spending money. There are also 100 runner up prizes which look set to be pretty epic. To enter fans need to upload a photo, video, drawing or just a short sentence on their website.

Finally there is the chance to win one set of 20 tickets to the Birmingham Royal Ballet courtesy of Evening Standard.

David Bintley’s new interpretation of The Prince of the Pagodas will be one of the most exciting productions of 2014. With spectacular costumes from War Horse designer Rae Smith, these London premiere performances are the culmination of the year-long Britten 100 celebrations.

Through her childhood Sakura mourns her brother’s death and the disintegration of her father the Emperor, whose wicked new wife takes control of his kingdom. Forced to act when presented with four powerful and wealthy suitors, she throws herself on the mercy of a fifth – a scaly Salamander, but Sakura’s adventure has only just begun.
