M&S Is Now Selling Their Own Take On Aperol Spritz

If you're a fan of a classic Aperol Spritz then you might want to get yourself down to M&S pronto as they have just added their own version of the cocktail. That's right, if you're heading out for the day then you can take a can of Aperol Spritz with you to enjoy!

M&S has launched its own version of the classic Aperol spritz cocktail: the Aperitivo Spritz.

The British take on the Italian apéritif is made using all-natural colours and flavourings. A 250ml can retails at £2, and you can also get a 750ml bottle coming in at £5. Not too shabby for an 8 percent ABV tipple.

The new ready-to-drink cocktail is made with sparkling white wine and orange bitters for Italian summer vibes. It's described as "slightly bitter with a sweet hint of orange and a light herbal flavour".

Sam Pembridge, M&S Drinks Developer, said in the press release: "This is not just any cocktail, this is one of the UK’s favourite cocktails, given the M&S magic treatment and available for our customers in a can! Our Aperitivo spritz captures the classic bittersweet taste, ready mixed and perfect for summer evenings. I pour mine over ice for maximum enjoyment but sipped straight from the can is delicious too.
