My kids are still mad on Minecraft after years of playing, so I'm always on the lookout for Minecraft presents for them. This Minecraft Heroes of the Village Board Game has just had a big price drop at Amazon, as it's now just £15.99 when it's still selling for £27.99 at John Lewis & Partners!

This Minecraft Heroes of the Village Board Game looks like a great way to get the kids away from their screens for bit while still having Minecraft themed fun. In this game they have to work together to rebuild an abandoned village before the enemy Illager can attack them. To do this they explore exciting biomes, collect important resources and fight against dangerous monsters, and together with the support of their faithful animal companions like the dog and panda they can hopefully repel the Illager attack.
This is an official Minecraft product developed in collaboration with the game's makers Mojang, and I love the way that kids have to work together rather than compete against one another in this game.
It's for 2-4 players aged around 7 and over, and can take 20-25 minutes so it's quick and easy to play.
