The Leapfrog My Pal Scout is down to £9.99 right now at Smyths Toys. That's a reduction from the original price of £19.99.
The product description says:
"Give learning a personal touch with this soft and cuddly puppy named Scout."
It is apparently designed to help introduce babies to feelings, counting, animals and more.
It is suitable for babies aged 6 months and over, and you can connect it to your computer so that you can customise the music and personalise the learning with your child's name and favourite food, animal and colour. Internet connection is required to update games and songs, however.
In order to listen to music and learning songs or play games, little ones just need to press Scout's paw.
It comes with 30+ learning tunes and lullabies, as well as 14 activities , and in addition parents can set 2, 5 or 10 minutes of bedtime music to be played to help soothe little ones to sleep.
Do note that you do need batteries for this but according to the Smyths website, they are included. Probably worth stocking up on some spares, though! The link to the relevant batteries is on the same page as Scout, helpfully.
