FREE Activity Sheets & Games @ The Gruffalo.com
My kids love The Gruffalo, and like most youngsters these days they have a pretty big collection of Julia Donaldson books. I'd forgotten all about the official website until I got a mailing today telling me about the Free Christmas Activity Sheets that are available there.
There are dozens of printables you can access for free including activity sheets, colouring in, spot the difference, join the dots, puzzles, games, recipes, mazes, things to make and do and more. These cover lots of different Julia Donaldson books, and can be chosen to match your child's favourite characters and their interests and abilities.
At the moment The Gruffalo Website* has a snowy wintry theme, which fits in really well with The Gruffalo's Child and Stick Man especially. The most Christmassy ones are the Stick Man Dot to Dot, and The Gruffalo Christmas Tree Decoration, or there's a Gruffalo Christmas Activity Bundle pack to print off too.
It's not limited to Christmas activities and there are lots of seasonal themes for other times of the year too. (I wish I had known there was a Gruffalo pumpkin template at Halloween!)
There are also free games* to play online too, aimed very much at young pre-school children, and these are really sweet and fun to do. I hope your kids enjoy them as much as mine do!
