I have a bit of a 'thing' for sorting toys; to this day I find them almost irresistible - if there's a sorting toy that needs its shapes sorting, I feel absolutely compelled to sort them!
This ELC Animal Sounds shape sorter is suitable for little ones aged six months or older and has plenty for them to discover and enjoy. Whenever they fit one of the animal shapes into its correct space (developing their fine motor skills) they will hear either an animal sound or a short musical sound (teaching cause and effect) depending on whether its set to the 'melodies' or 'animal sounds' mode.
