If you don't have a remote control robot in your life, you really, really need one. So it's lucky that Amazon has slashed the price of the My 1st Remote Control Robot Circuit from £14.99 to just £4.81.

It looks as if this has been made with little hands in mind, as the button remote is easy to use and you just press one button to move forwards and one to spin around. I think that's a real bonus as I know my kids get really frustrated when playing with something that's just a little bit beyond their ability. Not fun at all. But this seems to be suitable for anyone aged three and over.

In four reviews from Amazon customer, this has been rated an average of 4.5 out of a possible 5 stars, and here's the most comprehensive review to give you a taster of what people think of the item:

"I purchased this for my children as a Christmas present, they both absolutely love it but the reason I have only given it 4 stars is because it makes such a loud mechanical noise whilst moving that you can't really hear the actual sounds that you should do."

Do note that you'll also need one CR2 battery so if you don't have any of those in your battery drawer (what? you don't have a battery drawer...?!) then don't forget to throw some in your basket. With Amazon you'll get free delivery if you spend £10 or more too, so it might be worth stocking up on spare batteries.
