Of all the Dr Seuss stories, Green Eggs and Ham is probably my favourite - there's even a French version, "Je n'aime pas les ouefs vert et jambon!", funny - and I think a Green Eggs and Ham floor puzzle makes a nice change from the usual In the Night Garden or Chuggington ones.
A Green Eggs and Ham floor puzzle would also make a nice accompaniment to the book if you have it already, or you could buy a copy of it as well and bundle them up together.
As a story, Green Eggs and Ham is great for teaching children to recognise words through repetition and rhyme; a Green Eggs and Ham floor puzzle will teach them pattern recognition (sorting out the corners and edges from the tricky middle bits), problem solving (working out which bit goes where) and fine motor skills (the actual putting it together).
I love puzzles, I love Green Eggs and Ham (the story, not for real), I love this Green Eggs and Ham floor puzzle and I love that there's no postage to pay either, to anywhere in the world; marvellous!
