Smyths Toys has a Little Tikes Country Cottage in pink on sale for £187.49. The Smyths RRP is £249, and it's currently at Toys R Us for £299 and well over £200 everywhere else on line. Smyths also have it available for free home delivery or pick up in store.
There's just something about a big, pink playhouse. The kids love it. It really does keep them entertained for hours. It's also fun sitting outside the house listening to them role play, even when you have no play kitchen stuff inside. It's kind of wonderful, actually.
This country cottage features a pretend sink, stove, shutters that open and close and a opening door, so plenty to keep them occupied, but there are some finer details too, like a pretend sink with swivel tap, stovetop with clicking knobs, and a push button play phone on the inside.
The building itself has a full height door, a high roof and door arch as well as shutters on all the windows.
It does require adult assembly which they reckon will take about an hour, but only weighs 43kg, which is pretty good - enough to not blow away in a strong wind, but light enough to not be dangerous or too difficult to move around.
