I have a bit of a soft spot for baby gyms - all three of my children loved spending time playing with theirs, and whilst I wouldn't necessarily put baby gyms on a 'must-have essentials' list of baby things to buy...I would say they're definitely worth buying if you can a) afford to or b) get someone else to buy for you.
This Safari 2 in 1 baby gym is rather nice as it's very unisex - if you don't know what 'flavour' your baby is, or you have a friend who's expecting and doesn't know, then you can safely buy this and know it won't matter either way.
It brightly-coloured garden images including animals, flowers and birds, and the bright colours and different shapes will stimulate your little one's senses. There's the obligatory toy arch with hanging characters for your child to look at and reach out for, AND the entire thing folds out flat into a play mat too.
The Safari 2 in 1 baby gym is suitable from birth and provides a safe and alternative environment to your arms or their cot/moses basket/whatever.
You can arrange to collect your Safari 2 in 1 baby gym from your local Mothercare store for free, or you can pay them an additional £2.95 and they'll drop it off to you instead.
