This Hauck Palma buggy is reduced from £60 to just £35 at Asda Direct right now - perfect if you need a cheap, lightweight buggy for the holidays.
Pushchairs are one of those items of baby gear that no-one ever seems to get quite right the first time round. You spend a fortune on the must-have buggy of the season when your firstborn comes along, but invariably everyone I know who did that also ended up investing in a second more practical, lightweight stroller as the realisation dawned that the gigantic travel systems that cost as much as a car, while great for a newborn, are just unwieldy and impractical with a wrigglier, heavier, more curious baby.
I've never had a Hauck buggy so I can't vouch for whether this is a reliable option but at this price it seems ideal for use as a second holiday buggy, or for leaving at the childminder's or grandparents' house for occasional use.
It's an umbrella stroller which means it folds literally like an umbrella, so should fit in even the tiniest of car boots compactly, making it great for use when travelling.
It has swivel and locking front wheels plus an extendable sun canopy and reclining backrest. There's also the standard shopping basket, which looks to be a decent size, plus a padded 5-point harness system, brakes which act on the rear wheels, and a removable front bar.
Not that kind of bar, obviously. At least I don't think so...
