Storage is one thing that I never seem to have enough of, especially in my daughter’s room. Her toys seem to multiply when I’m not looking, even though I do regular clear outs! So, this handy storage container, designed to look like a treasure chest, should make some of us very happy indeed.

This large blue box has a 48 litre capacity with a green lid and red clips. The colours are nicely neutral and should match all but the pinkest of room designs, and its made from polypropylene for that little extra toughness.

The lid is hinged for easy opening and closing and you can always add in some unique storage solutions for the inside so it doesn’t end up looking like a tangled mess. My personal favourite for the latter is IKEA as they tend to have really innovative gadgets for drawers and chests and secret storage.
