Wilko Recall Children's Dolls

Wilko have just issued a recall on several toy dolls as they fail to meet the required safety standards.

The dolls being recalled are all four of the Sparkle Girlz Winter Princess Doll, as they "contain a higher than expected levels of phthalates and consequently may present a risk to children".

Phthalates are chemicals that are thought to be cancer causing and so the levels of them in toys is strictly controlled.

If you have any of these toys you should return it to a Wilko store* for a refund.

We've recently become aware of a potential safety issue with our Sparkle Girlz Winter Princess Doll shown above. We have identified that this product contains higher than expected levels of phthalates and consequently may present a risk to children if placed in the mouth, therefore it does not meet our strict safety requirements.

Nothing matters more to us than our customers' safety - so if you've purchased this product from us, please return it to any of our stores for a full refund of the purchase price.
