URGENT RECALL: Bounce Energy Balls Due To Listeria Risk

Do you buy Bounce Energy Balls or know someone that does? If so then you need to read this!

Both Energy Ball flavours Cashew Pecan and Apple & Cinnamon are being recalled as an "ingredient supplier was found to have distributed sunflower kernels that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes (L.mono). Listeria is a food bacterium that may cause food poisoning".

This is a voluntary recall as a precaution in order for Bounce Foods to safeguard it's customers and Bounce Foods have not received any news of consumers being affected. Having said that, the risk is there so DO NOT CONSUME these products.

These are the products affected in the recall:

  • Bounce Cashew Pecan Vitality Lift Balls all pack configurations with Best Before date ranges starting 29/08/2016 to 15/02/2017
  • Bounce Apple & Cinnamon Protein Punch Balls all pack configurations with Best Before date ranges starting 28/08/2016 to 12/03/2017

No other Bounce products or flavours are involved with this recall and are perfectly safe to eat.
