Bought 20 Washable Brush Pens and/or 12 Washable Colouring Pens from Asda? There's an urgent recall notice been issued on both of these items. This is a precautionary measure as Asda have become aware of a potential choking hazard. This is due to a manufacturing fault where air holes are not correctly drilled into some of the pen caps. It's packets purchased from January 2014, that are affected. They would have cost you £1.50/£1.60 a pack, if you think you have these then read the advice below.
We've struggled to find images of both products affected as Asda have obviously taken them off the site. The products you have purchased may look different from the packaging above but please check any purchases you may have made against the info above. You're looking for 20 Washable Brush Pens and 12 Washable Colouring Pens.
What to do if you have some:
If you have either the 20 Washable Brush Pens or the 12 Washable Colouring Pens, and have purchased them since January 2014, then you are strongly recommended to take them back to your local Asda store immediately. Do not let your children continue to use them. You don't need the packaging nor do you need a receipt to return them.
