RECALL: Phil & Teds Dash V5 Pushchair

Phil & Teds have issued a recall on certain batches of their Dash V5 Pushchair. This is due to reports of the main hinges coming loose and causing a pinch hazard to babies and children.

The recall affects Dash V5 buggies with serial numbers in the range from PTRV0715/0746 to PTRV0815/2525 that were sold between August 2015 and March 2016.

If you have one of the affected pushchairs Phil & Teds are not offering refunds, but are instead sending out replacement frames for you to fit yourself at home.

The link above has an online form to fill in to request your replacement frame, plus video instructions on how to fit it.

This recall notice is on the Mothercare website here*, but these pushchairs were sold through a number of retailers including Very, Pramworld, Precious Little One, and Direct To Kids.

The recall notice was originally issued a few weeks ago overseas, and has now been extended to the UK. The recall notice follows below:
