Chicco Cosmos Car Seat Recall

Have you got the Chicco Cosmos Car Seat? If you have then take note that some of them are on recall. This is due to a potential deviation in the mechanical behaviour of a component in the seat and as a precaution, found by Trading Standards and Chicco themselves.

Which ones are affected?

Only seats sold between 28th February and 24th May 2017 are affected with the following codes...

Chicco Cosmos 04444637 on the homologation label (A) and by the serial number (B) on each product: only serial numbers from 00000001 to 00025152 are affected.

What to do next?

If yours is one is on recall then you can contact Chicco via phone on (0162) 375087 or online at Chicco to arrange a FREE replacement.

If yours doesn't match the serial number from above, then you are fine to continue using it and don't need to take any action at all.
