Baby Start Night Light Recalled By Homebase Due To Risk Of Explosion

The Baby Start LED Night Light had today been recalled by Homebase as it may cause an explosion! This is a very serious fault and if you have this product you should stop using it immediately.

The problem is that it does not comply with safety regulations and it has no internal fuse so a spike in current could mean it starts smoking or explodes.

If you have this product you should stop using it and return it to Homebase for a refund.

At present the product has only been recalled by Homebase but it is has also been for sale at other retailers as well, so more stores or the manufacturers may also issue their own recalls.

The product has been made without an internal fuse, and in certain situations this may lead to premature failure of other components. If there is a spike in the electrical current it is possible that the product may fail and emit smoke or cause a small explosion. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant national standard.

Please stop using the product and return it to store for a full refund.
