Personally, even the 10% discount doesn't put the furniture sold by Rooms Direct into my price range. However, I am heartily fed up with the flimsy self assembly stuff sold at Ikea. As a compromise I've been looking at second hand items that are solidly built but just a bit worn. I recognise many of these from the Rooms Direct catalogue, so they're definitely selling furniture that's made to last!
